Invitation to Bid: City Park Tree Pruning Project
The City of Clinton’s Department of Parks and Recreation is pleased to announce an invitation to bid for the City Park Tree Pruning Project. This project is funded by the State of Tennessee’s Forestry Division and aims to enhance the health and safety of the trees in our city parks.
Project Overview:
Scope of Work: The project involves comprehensive pruning of trees at the City’s
Jaycee Park and Lakefront Park locations. Tasks include removal of dead or
diseased limbs, shaping of tree canopies, and ensuring the overall health of the
trees. The project is to include full removal of cuttings and in the case of full tree
falls, stump removal.Location: Jaycee Park located at 314 Nave Street, Clinton, TN and Lakefront Park
located at 110 S. Charles G. Seivers Blvd., Clinton, TN.Duration: The project is expected to start by mid-October and should be completed by October 31st.
Eligibility Requirements:
Bidders must be licensed and insured to perform tree pruning services in
Tennessee.Experience in similar projects is required. Please provide references and details of
past projects.Compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations is mandatory.
A certified Arborist is required to oversee the work performed.
Submission Details:
Bid Submission Deadline: Wednesday, September 18th at 10am. Only sealed bids will be accepted and will be opened in a public forum in City Council Chambers.
Submission Address: 100 N. Bowling Street, Clinton, TN 37716. Known as Clinton City Hall.
Required Documents: Enclosed in a sealed bid should be the bid proposal, proof of insurance, business license, and any other documents as specified in the detailed bid package.
Pre-Bid Meeting:
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 11th at 10 am at Jaycee Park located at 314 Nave Street, Clinton, TN 37716, near the play structure and restrooms. Attendance is required for all interested bidders.
